The Ministry Mindset Assessment is a tool to identify the strengths and weaknesses that may be present in ministers’ mindsets in the fields of Dignity, Belonging, and Confidence.
How does it work?
Total honesty time: it would be awesome to put this in a fancy form and make it look lovely and beautiful.
But I am not there yet, budget-wise. 😉
So here are the step-by-step instructions to complete it in its present Excel form…
- Open the Excel sheet: Ministry Mindset Assessment.
- File > Download > Microsoft Excel.
- Save the file wherever you like on your computer, then open it.
- “Enable Editing” if necessary.
- In the orange boxes, rate each of the prompts with a number (1-5).
- At the end, click on the “Score” tab in the bottom corner to view your results.
Why these categories?
These 3 main pillars (Dignity, Sense of Belonging, and Confidence/Ability) are each tied to one of the seven wounds of the human heart (Worthlessness, Shame, Rejection, Abandonment, Fear, Powerlessness, and Hopelessness).
By recognizing the wounds and lies in our own hearts, we’re able to begin to choose more healthy and holy thoughts, and align our lives more perfectly to Christ.
